No good deed goes unpunished, it is said and it seems filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is learning this the hard way.
The maverick director had recently gushed about Karan Johar's upcoming film 'Student Of The Year' on Twitter by claiming that SOTY would break the record of '3 Idiots' too and yet, KJo chose to get catty about Varma at a recent event. When asked to coment on Varma's recent tweets, Johar said that he was quite happy to read them. However, he then asked, "Is he still alive? For some time, I was afraid that we had lost him!" When the amused media-persons asked his opinion about how Varma's flick 'Bhoot Returns' would fare, Johar initially claimed that he had not heard of the movie and when probed, he quipped," 'Bhoot Returns'? Where is he returning from?"
