Report: Only One Past President Has Accepted Invite To Trump’s Inauguration

Jimmy Carter is reportedly the only former U.S president to have accepted his invitation to Donald Trump’s inauguration thus far.

Donald Trump’s inauguration is less than a month away, and his team seems to be having a difficult time securing the attendance of certain high-profile guests.
Politico reports that, while all former U.S. presidents are invited to the swearing-in ceremony, only Jimmy Carter has RSVP'd thus far.
George H.W. Bush has officially declined due to his advanced age of 92.
His son, George W. Bush, whose brother Jeb ran against Trump, will reportedly announce his decision in the new year.
Meanwhile, the Clinton team is said to be debating whether Bill and Hillary should attend, perhaps, as a sign of support for the transition or skip it due to the contentiousness of the recent election.
In fact, she was mentioned by Trump recently when he tweeted, “The so-called 'A' list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!”
