Madhur Bhandarkar Signs Priyanka Chopra For 'Madamji'

Priyanka Chopra, who received the National Award for her performance in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, is teaming up with the filmmaker once again for his upcoming film Madamji. Priyanka has loved the film's script, which revolves around an item girl-turned-politician. The former beauty queen has however told Madhur that she will be able to do the film only once she wraps up Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Mary Kom and Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, as she wants do Madamji in one go. It is a very challenging role and she doesn't want any distractions while shooting for it. It will take PeeCee almost seven months to complete both the films and in the meanwhile, Bhandarkar is planning to roll his film, Calendar Girls. Calendar Girls will be shot in approximately 55 days and Madhur is planning to take the film on floors in April-May. The movie will be shot in Spain and India and the filmmaker is planning to cast newcomers in it.
