An implant helps the blind see | Tomorrow Today

Patients suffering from retinitis pigmentosa can experience a loss of photoreceptors at a young age, resulting in blindness. Professor Eberhart Zrenner at Tübingen University has developed a retinal implant to restore a degree of vision in such patients.
