Alia Bhatt: 'Being thick-skinned and understanding are my strengths'

Alia Bhatt, who was last seen opposite Varun Dhawan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, says that her strength lies in her will power and being thick-skinned and understanding. At a recent event, when the actress was asked what are her strengths, she said, ''I have a good amount of will power, which I believe I get from my dad. Another thing, which I believe is very important in my profession is to be thick-skinned, so I have that too and being understanding as a person always helps you with your friends and the people who are close to you. Being understanding is a quality which I get from my mother and it makes me very forgiving but sometimes it goes against me but sometimes it helps you in the long run.'' Alia will be next seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in Vikas Bahl's Shaandar.
