How Sonakshi Sinha Got A Chance To Sing In 'Tevar'?

Actor's crooning for their own films has become the latest trend in Bollywood and now, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to mark her singing debut with Tevar. However, Sona has revealed that it was not planned but was an impromptu decision that was taken while they were shooting for the song. At the trailer launch, when Sinha was asked how excited she is about the her singing debut, she said, ''In my opinion I'm a very good bathroom singer so I actually wanted to do this for a very long time but no one gave me the opportunity probably they might have heard me and must have thought no this is not happening." She further revealed, ''Imran Khan came and did this wonderful song for us and while we were shooting the song he said that there is a little part for the girl, which needs to be sung. So I asked him which singer are you looking at, so he said you sing it and I was like ‘what'? When he insisted, I said are you sure? Amit wanted me to sing as well, so I grabbed the opportunity.'' Directed by Amit Sharma, the film also stars Arjun Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee and is slated to release on January 9.
