Badlapur Teaser Trailer | Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

The makers of Badlapur have unveiled the film's teaser trailer and as expected the revenge drama is gory, dark and high on action. The film has been directed by Sriram Raghavan and stars Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yaami Gautam, Huma Qureshi and Divya Dutta in the lead roles.
The film revolves around Dhawan's character Raghu, who sets out on a journey to avenge his wife's (Yaami Gautam) murder. Yaami is murdered by Nawaz, who plays the antagonist. Varun can be seen in an all new avatar but it is Siddiqui who steals the show, yet again. The film's plot seems a little similar to Ek Villain and Varun's bearded look reminds us of Shahid Kapoor of Haider. The makers have also shown a glimpse of the much-talked about smooch between Divya and Dhawan.
Though Varun has worked hard on his look, he lacks a bit in his dialogue delivery and thus fails to convince us that he is a man, who means business. Nawaz as the malicious murderer, is a treat to watch and his performance will certainly be one of the USPs of the movie.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla, the film is slated to release on February 20.
