Anurag Kashyap: 'Greed is the only unchanged aspect of Bombay'

Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will explore Mumbai before it became a bustling metropolis in his upcoming film Bombay Velvet and the director opened up about his thoughts on the city when talking about his film in an interview recently.
When asked about his research on the 50-60s era Mumbai and what element of the city has remained unchanged till date, Anurag said, ''In my opinion, the only constant and unchanged element of the city from then till date is greed. Everyone who has come to the city has come greedy for success and to move ahead in life. That is one of the aspects that I have explored in Bombay Velvet.''
Bombay Velvet stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, Raveena Tandon and Karan Johar.
