Ayushmann Khurrana: 'Mumbai is my karmabhoomi'

Ayushmann Khurrana, who'll be next seen in Hawaizaada, is seen mouthing some lines in Marathi in the film's trailer and when he was was asked if it was difficult for him to speak in Marathi, he said that as Mumbai is his Karmabhoomi he is supposed to know the region's language. At the trailer launch, Khurrana said, ''I have been in Mumbai since the past 5 years, so I understand Marathi quite well. I stay here and Mumbai is my Karmabhoomi so I should know the language that's spoken here and I really worked hard on my Marathi for this film.'' ''The co-writer of the film Saurabh Bhave is a Maharashtrian and he has done a tremendous job. He was there on the sets throughout to help me with the diction,'' he further added. Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film is based on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade and is slated to release on January 30.
