Manoj Bajpayee: 'I chose to avoid watching 'Okkadu' when I was offered 'Tevar'

Talented actor Manoj Bajpayee, who will be next seen playing the antagonist Gajendra Singh in Amit Sharma's directorial debut Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, recently revealed that when he got to know that Tevar is the remake of Telugu flick Okkadu, he chose to not watch the original at all. Talking about his theory behind this, Manoj said, ''I had not seen Okkadu earlier, though Arjun had seen it and when I got to know that Tevar is the remake of this South flick, I deliberately chose to avoid watching it as there was always this fear in my mind of being influenced by the actor in the original.'' For those who do not know this, Prakash Raj had played the antagonist in the original film, which starred Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika Chawla in the lead roles.
