San Francisco Giants Sign Jimmy Rollins

Former National League MVP Jimmy Rollins signed a minor-league deal with the San Francisco Giants, according to Fox Sports. Collins will be invited to spring training with the Giants and will reportedly receive $1 million if he remains on San Francisco’s roster all season long. Last season, Rollins signed with the White Sox and played 41 games before being released in June. The 38 old infielder will be fighting to win a backup job, competing with Kelby Tomlinson and Ehire Adrianza, among others.
