SNL blasts Trump's relationship with Russia's Putin

Saturday Night Live took a dig at President-elect Donald Trump's friendly relationship with Russian president Vladimir Putin. The show compared the future president to the classic 1962 film The Manchurian Candidate. “Donald, I want to state officially that we in Russia are so happy you are U.S. president. We think you’re the best candidate, the smartest candidate, the Manchurian candidate," Beck Bennett as Putin said during the show. The film, originally a 1959 novel, is about on a prisoner of war who is brainwashed and becomes an assassin in a Communist conspiracy.
