Trump Admits Campaign Supporters Were ‘Vicious’ And ‘Violent’

Donald Trump has admitted that, during the presidential race, supporters of his campaign were “violent.”
The president-elect made the comments during a stop on his “Thank You Tour” in Orlando on Friday.
At one point in the speech, after complimenting the crowd, Trump told them, “So here’s what I noticed.  Four weeks ago...you people were vicious, violent, screaming, 'Where's the wall? We want the wall!' Screaming, 'Prison! Prison! Lock her up!'  I mean you were going crazy. I mean, you were nasty and mean and vicious and you wanted to win, right?"
He then said, “Now, same crowd...but now, now it’s much different.  Now, you're laid back, you're cool, you're mellow, right?  You're basking in the glory of victory, and we’re already getting to work.”
A Business Insider report recalls Trump’s supporters acting aggressively towards others--especially journalists and protesters--during his campaign events despite the businessman’s statement at one point that “There's no safer place to be than a Trump rally.”
