Generic-drug companies being sued for price-fixing

On Thursday, twenty state attorney generals sued six generic-drug companies, including Mylan and Teva, for manipulating prices of generic drugs used to treat life-threatening conditions. The suit was filed in Connecticut's federal court and it accuses the pharmaceutical companies of colluding to fix prices for an antibiotic and a diabetes medication The companies named are Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc., Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc., Citron Pharma LLC, Mayne Pharma Inc., Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc.
