Donald Trump's team is still searching for a White House press secretary, and among those being considered is Fox News’ Kimberly Guilfoyle, reports Politico.
She is the co-host of ‘The Five.’ Guilfoyle will, according to inside sources, soon have her 3rd meeting with the transition team.
Some close to Trump have said that they find her Puerto Rican heritage to be a plus.
An unnamed official supporting her selection commented, “Do you want a white male representing the White House when half the country thinks the President is a misogynist? Who do you want talking about immigration? A Latino. When you have to make decisions about pro-life justices, do you want a man or a woman?"
Others said to be in the running for the post are one-time campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson, radio personality Laura Ingraham, and transition spokesperson Sean Spicer, who is considered the favorite.
Kellyanne Conway, Trump's senior adviser, is reportedly not under consideration.
CNN reported on Monday, "Kellyanne Conway, the campaign manager who steadfastly defended Donald Trump through a series of controversies at the end of his campaign, said in a pair of recent interviews she will not serve as his administration's top spokesman."
