John Legend calls Kanye West, Trump meeting 'publicity stunt'

John Legend criticized Kanye West's meeting with President-elect Donald Trump, calling it a "publicity stunt" in an interview with France's Clique TV. "I think the things [Trump's] promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing," Legend said. Kanye tweeted his meeting with Trump covered issues such as bullying, education, and violence. "I don't think it's impossible to talk to [Trump] about issues, but I won't be used as a publicity stunt," the singer said. "I think Kanye was a publicity stunt," said in response to his tweet. On Wednesday morning, Kanye, tweeted a photo of a magazine signed by Trump as a token of their friendship.
