Aamir Khan: 'Bollywood has become a soft target for publicity-seekers'

Aamir Khan, whose last film PK got embroiled in many controversies before and after its release, feels that Bollywood has become a soft target for people, who seek publicity.

At a recent event, when talking about how controversies affect films, Khan said, ''It is an unfortunate fact that nowadays, every film seems to have attracted some or the other controversy. Before the release of PK, there was a case of plagiarism filed against Rajkumar Hirani, who is possibly the most decent man in the industry today. By the time the matter goes to court and the truth is revealed, the person filing the case has got his name on the front page, which is what he wanted in the first place. I want to appeal to the media to investigate such stories when they arise instead of blindly printing or airing them.''

Aamir will be next seen playing a wrestler-turned-coach named Mahavir Phogat in Dungal.
