An amusing video has emerged of a woman, who is afraid of flying, screaming as she plays a simulation game with a virtual reality headset.

The footage, shot last week in Vancouver, Canada, shows Julia Felton, 25, holding her hands in the air and repeating "oh gosh!" as her boyfriend Jack Allaby, 22, pilots the virtual plane.

"I've only ever been on a plane once, and that was from Vancouver to Prince George, which was about 45mins long," Felton told Newsflare.

"Flying has always been a huge fear for me- it's actually one of my most frequent nightmares,"

"Having anxiety, I always look for new ways to cope with, or conquer fears. The VR experience seemed perfect for just that." she added.

"It felt like I was in the air and I just became completely submersed in the faux-reality. The graphics were impressive, and the feeling of being above the ground felt so real."

Julia and Jack plan on visiting family in London this winter which is a 10-hour flight.
