NFL teams can choose own cancer causes to support next October

Starting next October, NFL teams no longer have to wear pink for breast cancer awareness in October. Instead, teams can choose which type of cancer they want to raise awareness for. According to MMQB.com, teams were informed via a conference call last week. Teams will still be allowed to wear pink for breast cancer awareness if they want. The idea was originally planted in 2014 by Houston Texans' Devon Still when he wrote a letter to Roger Goodell. Still has a young daughter named Leah who is in remission from stage 4 neuroblastoma.
