Lamar Odom checks into rehab a year after near fatal overdose

Khloe Kardashian's now ex-husband Lamar Odom has admitted himself to rehab in San Diego. The decision came one year after the former NBA player experienced a near-fatal overdose in Las Vegas. "It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life," a source told E! News. In October 2015, Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada where he overdosed on cocaine and other drugs. "He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety," according to E! News.
