Kangana Ranaut, who wowed everyone with her performance in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, will be seen working with acclaimed director Hansal Mehta in upcoming movie Simran and the actress recently opened up about her role in the film.
In an interview, Kangana said that contrary to popular beliefs, Simran is not a biopic at all, but a story of a Gujarati girl, who goes to California and gets embroiled in criminal activities. Kangana added that the film will revolve around a mother-daughter relationship.
Kangana will also be next seen in Nikhil Advani's Katti Batti, in which she will be paired opposite Imran Khan.
