The West Virginia woman who was suspended from her job after calling Michelle Obama an "ape in heels" will soon be reinstated.
According to the Charleston Gazette-Mail, on December 23, Pamela Ramsey Taylor will resume her post as a director for the Clay County Development Corp., a federal and state funded nonprofit organization that aids senior citizens.
Taylor was relieved of her duties after making her comment on Facebook.
In the days following Donald Trump’s win, she reportedly wrote, “It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a Ape in heels.”
When the post became a matter of national interest, Taylor asserted that those critical of her comment were committing “a hate crime” against her and pledged to file lawsuits against them, notes the Miami Herald.
