We had earlier reported that Salman Khan will play a dwarf in Aanand L. Rai's next however, we now hear that Shah Rukh Khan has replaced the Dabangg Khan.

Earlier there were reports that Rai has shelved the project however, the filmmaker refuted the rumours saying that his movie with Salman is very much on and that they will start shooting, once the superstar gets free. However, it now seems that Rai has got tired waiting for Salman and has thus approached SRK for the lead role in his ambitious project. The King Khan has not given his nod of approval yet.

Like Rai's other films, this movie too will be set against the backdrop of a small town.
