Akshay Kumar: 'Was waiting to do a film like Singh is Bliing'

Akshay Kumar, who was seen in serious films like Baby, Gabbar Is Back and Brothers in the recent past, will be next seen in Prabhudheva's upcoming laugh riot Singh is Bliing and the actor says that he was waiting to do a masala entertainer. At the trailer launch of his upcoming film Singh Is Bliing, the actor said, "It's been two years since I have done a comedy film and I was waiting to do a film like Singh Is Bliing. This is a masaledaar film, which will bring me closer to my audience. You have seen me before in this avatar in Singh Is Kinng and Namaste London but this film is very different and is not a sequel to Singh Is Kinng. It's a funny story and I hope people will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working in it." Akshay will play the role of a goofy sardar, who can't focus on anything, in Singh Is Bliing.
