This is One Of The Best Christmas Lights Displays EVER - And For a Good Cause
  • 7 years ago
For this Fairfield Connecticut couple, the holidays wouldn't be the same without Christmas lights and decorations... and a lot of them! For 17 years in a row, Gene and Mary Halliwell, with the help of daughter Maryanne and her husband George Mulligan have put together the "Wonderland At Roseville".

With 350,000 lights and more than 800 pieces, it requires about 30 circuits just to power all the lights and decorations! The Wonderland at Roseville is home to over 1,000 feet of running train, dozens of Santas, nutcrackers, and Christmas figurines, and of course a big red sleigh!

So, at this point you're probably wondering how long it took to set all of this up? Gene and Mary's daughter Maryanne reveals, "we were out here in April this year, so about 8 months, if not longer." The display premieres every year at 5PM Thanksgiving Day and all the donations go to the Shriner's Hospital For Children

Thanks to this family, everyone can have a little more holiday cheer!!
