A pig named LiLou recently made a significant stride for her species, becoming the first of her kind to serve as an airport therapy worker.

Pigs have long been making entry into fields typically dominated by dogs, becoming movie stars, human companions, and even highly regarded search animals.
A pig named LiLou recently made another significant stride for her species, becoming the first of her kind to serve as an airport therapy worker, reports ABC News.
On Monday, she officially joined the ‘Wag Brigade’ at the San Francisco International Airport.
When she’s on the clock, her task is to simultaneously soothe and entertain passengers who pass through the facility daily.
According to USA Today, "...she also performs a variety of tricks, including greeting people with her snout or a wave, twirling and standing up on her back hooves, and playing a toy piano -- with a proper, post-performance bow. "
For those concerned about her credentials, don’t be.
LiLou is fully certified by the SPCA as four-legged therapist and has previously worked at medical facilities and homes for the elderly, notes WNBC.
