Similarities Between DANGAL & SULTAN - Aamir Vs Salman

Aamir Khan's Dangal trailer is finally out and it has already created a buzz around social media.
The trailer is a sure shot winner and will surely give you chills.
While Aamir is all geared up for his movie, there was another movie this year which took the limelight and that was Salman Khan's Sultan.
Comparisons between Sultan and Dangal are bound to happen as they are both based on wrestling.
From the Haryanvi accent to the movie and trailer stills, there are a couple of parts that are strikingly similar.
Here’s taking a look at some similarities between Aamir’s Dangal and Salman’s Sultan.

Interestingly, both the trailers start with Salman and Aamir wrestling
The Scooter Scene
There is a scene in Sultan where Salman is seen riding a scooter and a similar sequence was seen with Aamir in Dangal.
Wrestling scenes
Fatima’s wrestling scene in the Dangal trailer somehow reminds us of Anushka’s in Sultan. They are not exactly identical but somehow similar.
Haryanvi Accent
Both Salman and Aamir have adapted the Haryanvi accent to perfection.

Both went through an impressive physical transformation for their roles as wrestlers.
Akhada - Traditional wrestling ring
The Akhada shot is very similar in both and will make you whistle, clap and jump off your seats for sure!
After these similarities, it's no wonder that the director of Sultan, Ali Abbas Zafar wanted to name his film Dangal earlier!
