Donald Trump named TIME's person of the year

President-elect Donald Trump has been selected as TIME's "Person of the Year" Wednesday. The magazine named Trump as this year's most significant person, only a year after being a runner-up to German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The future president referred to his new title as a "great honor" on NBC's "Today" show. the magazine said. The runner-up for Time's Person of the Year was Hillary Clinton.
