Amazon has opened a new check-out free store in Seattle the latest salvo in Amazon’s quest for retail dominance.

Amazon Go has no cashiers, no queues and no credit cards.

The company says all you need is the Amazon Go app to enter the store and then you are ready to shop ‘till you drop.

If the current test is succesful the company plans to open 2,000 outlets.

Apart from groceries such as bread and milk, one can also pick up ready-to-eat-meals prepared on-site.

The new “Just Walk Out Shopping” will impact on job numbers, 850,000 cashiers work in grocery stores across the US today.
