Vidya Balan Says 'Kahaani 2' Is Not A Sequel

Vidya Balan, who had impressed the hell out of us in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani, will be next seen in Kahaani 2, but despite the similar titles, Vidya insists that Kahaani 2 is not a sequel at all.
Talking about her upcoming film, Balan said that the makers have taken the franchise forward with fresh characters and a different story, which is not connected at all with Kahaani, which had revolved around an ostensibly pregnant woman's search for her missing husband.
Vidya will be seen sharing screen space with Arjun Rampal in Kahaani 2, which is slated to release on December 2.
