Daddy Movie Teaser Review | Arjun Rampal As Arun Gawli

Arjun Rampal will try his hand at a biopic for the very first time with ‘Daddy’, which is based on the life of former don Arun Gawli and the teaser of the film was unveiled today by Arjun Rampal at an event in suburban Mumbai.



The teaser features Arun Gawli (Arjun Rampal), the ‘King of Dagdi Chawl’ being interrogated by a cop with flashes of Gawli’s past, his associates, his gang members and glimpses of his family life shown as Gawli responds to the questions put to him. The teaser is dark, gritty and grim and Arjun, who has never played such a role before, impressed the hell out of us as he bears an uncanny resemblance to the former don in his look. Going by the teaser, we are sure that this film will be one of Rampal’s best work ever.



Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, ‘Daddy’ is slated to release next year.
