Teaching assistant in England jailed for helping teen join the mile-high club

KINETON, ENGLAND — A teaching aid in the UK has been jailed for committing sex acts on a teenage male student during a school trip.
Last year, Jill Meldrum-Jones, 37, was chaperoning students on a school excursion to South Africa when she took a special interest in a 15-year-old in the class. The two started going for long walks together, which eventually led to an intimate bond.
Meldrum-Jones first performed a sex act on the young man as they were riding a minibus with all his classmates on board. She then took things a step further by performing oral sex on him, and encouraged him to perform sex acts on her at a secluded spot where they could be alone.
Their relationship reached a high point during the 10-hour flight back to England, where Meldrum-Jones masturbated the boy three times, and performed oral sex on the boy three times as well.
When rumors began to spread in February, the married mother of two was caught when her phone records revealed highly-sexualized text messages to the boy following the trip. This week, she pleaded guilty to seven charges of sexual activity with a child and inciting sexual activity.
For her crimes, she has been sentenced to 32 months in jail.
