Netflix has premiered the first trailer for “Spectral,” its high-profile sci-fi action thriller acquisition it picked up from Legendary Pictures.
James Badge Dale, Emily Mortimer and Bruce Greenwood star in the film about a brilliant DARPA scientist who goes on a deadly mission with a Special Ops team of Delta Force soldiers into a war-torn city where mysterious phantom aggressors code-named Spectral have been causing inexplicable civilians deaths.
Nic Mathieu makes his directorial debut on the film, based on a story by Ian Fried and Mathieu and a screenplay by George Nolfi. Junkie XL did the score while Weta Workshop and Weta Digital provide the effects.
The film hits cinemas and the streaming service next Friday, December 9th.
