Hillary Clinton surprises Katy Perry at UNICEF gala

Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance at the 12th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball on Tuesday in New York. The former Secretary of State and U.S. presidential candidate presented pop-star Katy Perry with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award for her work as an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. "I cannot tell you how delighted I am to be here to help celebrate the recipient of this year's Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award. Someone who just has the spirit and the energy and the compassion that Audrey Hepburn brought to her work," said Clinton. The pair formed a bond during the 2016 presidential election, with Perry campaigning for Clinton at several appearances.
