Chris Cuomo of CNN recently shared his thoughts concerning MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski and their connection to Donald Trump.
Chris Cuomo of CNN recently shared his thoughts concerning MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ hosts and their connection to Donald Trump.
On Tuesday Cuomo tweeted about Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, “They have always been boosters. Things turned south when trump froze them out but coverage always stilted. They are transition spokesmen now…”
The post came amidst a flurry of reports declaring Scarborough has been advising the president-elect.
Social media was also abuzz with news that Brzezinski attended a meeting at Trump Tower on Tuesday, notes the Washington Post.
Both Scarborough and Brzezinski have had a fairly on-again-off-again relationship with Trump.
While, at the beginning of his campaign, Trump was often featured on their show, the hosts became increasingly critical of him as the months wore on.
Cuomo has been quite vocal about his belief that the two were never tough enough on Trump, identifying the show as a "friend" to the then-presidential candidate and calling Scarborough a “hypocrite.”
