DIY Blackhead Removing Pore Strips | Melanie Murphy

Make your own Anti-Blackhead Pore Strips at home! It’s time for another quick beauty DIY from the gorgeous Melanie Murphy. This is Mel’s super simple recipe to making pore strips at home. She uses this to unclog pores and remove those unwanted blackheads. Give it a go and let us know how you get on!
Melanie’s Recipe
Mix together the following ingredients in a bowl until thick:
- 3/4 of a cup of distilled water
- 1 tbsp Xanthum Gum
- Eucalyptus Essential Oil
To use: Apply the mixture with a brush onto clean skin. Put a tissue strip on your nose and layer on more mixture. Once the tissue is firm, peel the tissue off and discard. The mixture will last around 2 months when refrigerated.
Disclaimer: Please ensure you are not allergic to any ingredients and make sure you do a skin test before applying this mixture to your face. Eucalyptus essential oil can be harmful to skin without proper dilution, so please follow instructions carefully.
