TN couple claim Dhanush as their son; Court summons Kolaveri actor

In a rather shocking incident, an elderly couple from Melur have filed a petition claiming Dhanush as their son. Kathiresan and Meenakshi, the residents of Mallampati in Melur have even produced the Aadukalam star’s birth certificate and some childhood photographs following which the Judicial Magistrate Court has directed the actor to appear before the court.
As per the couple, Dhanush, whose real name was Kalaiselvan, was born at the Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai. The actor who was with them till class 12th, escaped and moved to Chennai to pursue his career in acting.
The couple have also sought the court to direct him to pay a monthly maintenance of Rs 65,000 per month.
