Social media is buzzing over a 10-year-old quote by Ivanka Trump who reportedly said at the time that she would mace her father, the current President-elect Donald Trump, over seemingly inappropriate comments he made about her.
In the Quotables section on August 24, 2006, the Chicago Tribune reports that Ivanka said, “If he wasn't my father, I would spray him with Mace.”
Her words have resurfaced, in part, due to a recent tweet by writer Sarah Kendzior who posted the quote after saying, “Never saw much reporting on Ivanka's response to Trump saying he wanted to date her.”
The incident being referred to occurred on 'The View' in 2006, when the hosts asked the businessman what he would think if Ivanka appeared on the cover of Playboy, he stated, “It would be really disappointing - not really - but it would depend on what was inside the magazine...I don’t think Ivanka would do that...although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
In another comment pertaining to Ivanka, Donald Trump said on 'The Howard Stern Show' in 2003, “You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body.”
