1988 Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter & Ghostrider G.I. Joe review

This is a review of G.I. Joe's first stealth jet, the Phantom X-19 and it's pilot Ghostrider. Both jet and pilot have copyright infringing names from two different comic companies! The jet, although strange looking and not based on a real-world craft, is based on the presumed characteristics of stealth... presumed by civilian military aircraft enthusiasts and model-makers, that is. The X-19 designation is also from the F-19: what military aircraft enthusiasts and model-makers thought the new U.S. stealth fighter would be. They were wrong on both counts and the first real-world stealth fighter was named the F-117 and looked nothing like this. In Europe, the Ghostrider figure was replaced with a 1983 Ace figure!
