Kelly Clarkson opens up on ‘struggling with fame’

Before Kelly Clarkson became the pop star phenomenon that she is today, the singer admitted to being in "a very dark place for a long time" to Good Housekeeping magazine. Clarkson rose to fame in 2002 when she won American Idol, and her whole life changed. "I love to sing, and I love to talk to people at meet-and-greets. It’s just all the crap that comes along with this job," Clarkson said during her interview. The mother-of-four said she is now the happiest she has ever been in both her personal and professional life.
