Senate Republicans unanimously re-elected Mitch McConnell to continue serving as the majority leader, meaning he will be a key legislative partner for President-elect Trump.
McConnell is widely popular among Republicans and his election was by acclimation on Wednesday.
McConnell distanced himself from Trump during the campaign, but says he's ready to work with him.
