Following Sunday’s ’60 Minutes’ interview with Donald Trump and his family, Ivanka Trump’s jewelry business used the appearance to boost sales.

Many tuned into Sunday’s ’60 Minutes’ interview with Donald Trump and his family to gain insights into what can be expected in the coming years.

A possibly telling sign came the day after the broadcast, with Ivanka Trump’s jewelry business using the appearance on the program to boost sales.

On Monday, fashion journalists from a bevy of high-profile publications, including Vogue and The New York Times, received a “style alert” email from Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry.

It informed them that the gold bracelet Ivanka wore on ’60 Minutes’ is available for purchase and priced at $10,800.

The president of Ivanka’s brand said not long after, “This notification was sent by a well-intentioned marketing employee at one of our companies who was following customary protocol, and who, like many of us, is still making adjustments post-election. We are proactively discussing new policies and procedures with all of our partners going forward.”

Since Donald Trump’s election as president, many ethics advisors have expressed concern that his top government post and personal business dealings will present conflicts of interest.
