The Trinity belief alienates the Christians from religion

ADNAN OKTAR: They made the Christians go through a pointless suffering. In the Bible, the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) constantly mentions the oneness of God. Why do you torment them? Can't you anticipate the terrible impact calling the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) 'God' would have on people? By saying so, you are devastating them. Do not do this; just say, "God is one" and that is all. Why do you say "God is three"? What would it do to a university student? You are obligating him to become impious right from the start.
AYLIN KOCAMAN: After your book "The Christians Must Heed Jesus" was published, many Christians who keep in touch with you changed their assertions in this regards, Mr. Oktar. They have begun to say things like “God is one for us as well; the Trinity belief does not imply He is three."
ADNAN OKTAR: Indeed. I have met an Armenian priest here; he said "Of course, God is one. Even a child would know this. We do not have such claims." He continued, "We call him 'Father' in a symbolical sense, not literally."
We can instantly identify the true parts of the Bible when we read it. One can easily realize the fact that God is one by merely reading the Bible as this fact is constantly emphasized. But some people come out and say God is three. Does this sound rational? Does it make sense for God to have a son? How can you say this? This would mean that God has a partner, may God forbid the thought. This is unimaginably irrational. This mentality is what leads the European and the American youth to their ruin. You are forcing them to become impious.
