Veterans Day: free meals, discounts and deals to honor those who have served

On Veterans Day, restaurants and retailers are honoring those who served in the military with deals and freebies. Great Clips: Veterans will receive a coupon for a free hair cut valid through Dec. 31. Back Yard Burgers: All Veterans and Active Duty Military who present their military ID or are in uniform will receive a free Back Yard Classic Burger. Bricktown Brewery: Free meal (up to $14) for all veterans. Applebee’s: Free entree, choices vary by location. Bob Evans: Free breakfast for anyone who has served in the military. JCPenny: Offering a 5 percent discount from Nov. 10-13 to former and current military personnel. Chipotle: All U.S. military, military spouses and veterans get a buy one get one free burrito, bowl, salad or tacos.
