Ingredients

2 & 1/4 Cups of plain flour
2 Tablespoons of corn flour
1/2 Tablespoon of baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
1/2 Cup of butter
1/4 Cup of vegetable shortening
1 Cup of sugar
1 Tablespoon of lemon zest
1 Large egg
1 Egg white
1 Teaspoon of lemon essence
1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence

Frosting

1.5 Cups of icing sugar
1/5 Cup of softened butter
1/4 Teaspoon of lemon extract or essence
1.5 Tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
