Donald Trump Jr.’s Name Floated As Possible Cabinet Choice

Now that Donald Trump has secured the presidency, there is speculation that his son Donald Trump Jr. may be a potential contender for the Interior Secretary position due to his background in hunting and fishing.

With Donald Trump securing his position as the next president of the United States, speculation has turned toward the potential members of his cabinet.
According to Politico, one of names being mentioned as a possible Interior Secretary is his own son, Donald Trump Jr.
During the campaign, the now president-elect reportedly mentioned the names of both adult sons for the role because of their backgrounds as outdoorsmen, hunters, and gun rights advocates.
And in an interview with Peterson Hunting from earlier this year, Donald Trump Jr. indicated that he would be open to the position, saying, “The biggest family joke that we all had over the holidays was that the only job in government that I would actually want would be in the Department of the Interior.”
He went on to add, “...I can make a difference, and I could do something to preserve the great traditions of the outdoors that are so vital to this country.”
Other contenders for Interior Secretary reportedly include former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, oil executive Forrest Lucas, and venture capitalist Robert Grady.
