Election night was a long one, and Donald Trump’s victory speech wasn’t delivered until the wee hours of Wednesday.

That’s a tough time to remain alert, especially if you’re a 10-year-old kid.

Trump’s son, Barron, was apparently fighting the urge to fall asleep and may have momentarily lost the battle more than once.

Twitter took notice and, despite the hour, was fully on its game.

Some had advice, like the person who wrote, “Somebody needs to put #barrontrump to bed. Or give him a red bull. #MakeAmericaSleepAgain”

Others saw it as a sign of questionable child rearing, posting comments such as, “Why on earth is Barron Trump up at 3 am? That kid is falling asleep on stage. He's ten. So good parenting is not his policy.”

There were also those who welcomed the distraction, with one noting, “The only good thing in this speech is watching Barron Trump desperately try to stay awake.”
