Here are some things you should know about Mike Pence, your Vice President-Elect.

He was born in 1959 in Columbus, Indiana. He grew up as a Democrat. And idolizing John F. Kennedy. Pence attended Hanover College and the Indiana University School of Law. He was a six-term congressman, serving from 2001 to 2012. In 2013, Governor Pence signed into law a bill that lessened the restrictions on illegal immigrants being ineligible for in-state tuition rates at Indiana state colleges and public universities. In 2015, Pence made a stand for religious liberty with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. He endorsed Ted Cruz for president. He criticized Trump’s call for a ban on Muslim immigration.
