Jury selection begins in South Carolina church shooting trial

Jury selection begins on Monday in the trial of Dylann Roof, 22, who is charged with killing nine African Americans in a Charleston church.
Roof faces 33 federal charges for the mass shooting at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on June 17, 2015.
The Justice Department says Roof picked the church because he wanted to incite a race war.
A total of 12 jurors will be selected from a pool of more than 500 Charleston-area residents.
