Former presidential candidate Ted Cruz has begun campaigning on behalf of the Republican ticket, but there may be limits to his support.
He reportedly refrained from saying Donald Trump’s name during his first speech in Iowa.


Former presidential candidate Ted Cruz has begun campaigning on behalf of the Republican ticket, but there may be limits to his support.
According to Politico, he refrained from saying Donald Trump’s name during his first speech in Iowa. 
The event featuring vice presidential nominee, Mike Pence, occurred on Thursday in the town of Prole. 
Cruz talked about President Obama’s failed healthcare promises, Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, and Pence, whom he called “a good man.” 
In fact, the Texas senator ended his speech by stating, “I very much look forward to calling him Mr. Vice President.” 
The Indiana governor had endorsed Cruz in the Republican runoff which featured many contentious exchanges between the two candidates.
